$$$ More with Qassia???

QASSIA????

Released on January 4, 2008, Qassia is currently in closed beta. That means, you can sign up and view intel if you were referred by someone who is already a member. The search function is not available to the general public.
What can I do at Qassia?

What is Qassia?

Qassia is a credit-driven intelligence engine coupled to a cascading tag-based directory. What the heck does that mean? It means that Qassia will change your life.

Only the Best!

Those of you interested in ad revenue sharing will be pleased to know that Qassia has by far the best ad revenue sharing system on the web. You can add your websites, and get unlimited quality backlinks. There is no need to pay, or to link back to Qassia. Websites are processed instantly and ranked by the amount of credits you have amassed. To earn credits, you can add intel, i.e. tidbits of intelligence.

Why is Qassia needed?

Promoting a new site has never been easy, and it's getting tougher every day. Site owners are forced to spend hours upon hours doing mundane and unproductive tasks such as exchanging links. Many give up, and splurge on advertising - which is why Google Adwords earns $1 billion per quarter.

How will Qassia generate traffic?

At Qassia, you will get credit for adding your intel. The more credit you get, the better your sites will rank. This provides incentive for site owners to contribute to Qassia. Thus harnessing the minds of millions, Qassia will become the largest repository of intelligence on the web.

At Qassia, you can add your websites for free, and without having to add reciprocal backlinks. You'll get unlimited quality backlinks (as opposed to "no-follow" backlinks). You can also add intel. Short for "intelligence", intel is a tidbit of information.

Qassia rewards users who add intel in three ways.

1. Backlinks You get one backlink for every piece of intel you add. Every intel will carry a direct backlink to one of your sites. So the more intel you add, the more backlinks you get.

2. Credit When you add intel, you also get credit, in the form of Qassia dollars. Your net worth in Qassia dollars determines how well your websites rank in our directory.

3. Revenue When your intel is displayed, you get 100% of the advertising revenue generated by that page. That is not a typo, by the way: we give you ALL of the gross ad revenue.

This means that website owners have triple incentive to contribute intel. The contributed intel will allow Qassia to become a vast repository of intelligence, with unrivalled original content. And a vast amount of original content draws traffic like honey draws ants.

Inside Intel, rather than Intel Inside

Qassia is sometimes confused with sites like Wikipedia, Squidoo, most recently, Google knol. Qassia is fundamentally different from these sites, because Qassia is not about asking people to upload authoritative articles. You don't need to be an egghead at Qassia. You could upload a lengthy academic treatise if you want, by all means, but you can also get away with contributing a hastily scribbled tidbit of information about a person, a company, a place, an event, a thing, or anything you know about.

What we value is intelligence about the people, companies, and places around you. The people and places do not have to be famous, and the intelligence does not have to be earth-shattering.

Here are some examples of intel.

Qassia isn't a wiki. Your intel will not get edited (it will get rated, but not edited). You can write your intel in any tone or style you like. You can write in the first person, and you can write your entire intel without using the shift key.

By asking for less, we receive more

We are sometimes asked if it is free to join and use Qassia. That makes us chuckle. Not only is Qassia 100 percent free - we do not even ask for reciprocal links - but, in addition to promoting your websites and discovering stuff, you can also earn real money - very easily and without any hassle. We have the best, most generous, and most reliable ad revenue sharing program on the web. So if you're thusly inclined - and who wouldn't be? - you'll actually get paid for the effort you put in promoting your websites. No hitch, no catch. Now, if that ain't a sweet deal, we don't know what is.

We believe that, only by completely pampering our users and giving more than any other website, and in fact giving more than the users themselves expect, can we attain our goal of becoming the most incredible website the world has ever seen.

Qassia is a new era

Think of the bits and pieces of intel as the gravel which will fill the potholes on the information superhighway. While the Wikipedia and other knowledge repositories are huge, boasting tens of thousands of articles, less than 1 percent of human knowledge has been uploaded to the Internet. At Qassia, we are giving users the incentive and the freedom to add the remaining 99.9 percent.

The vast web of intel created at Qassia will produce more than a useful intelligence engine. The advent of Qassia is a cataclysmic event in the history of the Internet. We are redefining the web experience. Come be part of history and create your free Qassia account now.

5 Things Not To Do When Advertising On Your Blog

by Ramkarthik

Ever wondered as a blogger how to advertise and how not to? There are few things which you should not do when advertising in your blog/website. The following are the 5 things not to do when advertising on your blog:

1. Don't place ads at lower places:

When it comes to comes to the placement, you should place the ads where people can see it well. You should try placing your ads in top or right/lest side of your content. Your readers should be able to see it without scrolling.

2. Don't place your referral ads with the paid advertising:

I have seen few blogs which has their referral ads like Text link ads and others placed together with the paid ones. There are blogs which say Featured sites and have their referral ads to show that they have advertisers. By doing this you are only losing the opportunity of getting new ads.

3. Don't keep the prices costly:

When your blog is doing well and many advertisers are approaching you, you might ask for very high prices. You can increase a little but not too much. To check what is the correct price for an advertisement in your blog, you can calculate it using the Text Link Ads Tool. It shows you the best price. You can also calculate it on the basis of Cost per 1000 page views.

4. Don't Advertise Bad/Unrelated Sites:

If your blog is about money making and blogging tips or it is about technology, you should place the ads related to your niche and you should not be placing Gambling sites which will pay more. Placing such sites might even get you some bad results.

5. Don't Display all those Flash And Animation Ads:

These type of ads will get your advertisers a very good result. But using that on your blog will lead you to losing your daily readers. It is a distraction for your readers. You should care for your readers. After all without them your blog won't be having much page views. So place only the simple and effective ads.

7 Basic tips to Optimize your Own blog posts

By Sharmistha Neogi (Pinks)

How to Optimize your Own blog posts both for your readers and search engines? Is it really possible to prepare an 'Optimal blog posts for search bots and online visitors?

The answer is 'Yes'. You may often find some considering 'Search spiders', some considering 'Visitors' as most important. But according to me, both readers (online visitors) and search engines are important for your blog. The visitors are more important because readers indirectly help your blog posts to appear in first or second Search engine result pages by linking to your own blog. Also do not ignore the search bots too because visitors are sent in bulk by the search engines, after the search query is being made. So always try to keep a balance between these two - readers and search engines. Make your best efforts to optimize both for your readers and search engines.

Here are some key aspects to see your blog right at the top.

1. Focus on quality content:

Good and quality content is the basic key. Nothing much can be achieved without having relevant content. So how to create quality content for your blog posts?

Quality content is the king. If you don't produce interesting, unique and quality posts, no one will ever visit your blog site. It's is very simple. More readers - More links - Rank in 1st or 2nd Search engine result pages.

Optimizing blogs (by following basic Search engine optimization techniques) will help you to rank in first or second search engine result pages and ultimately get more and more traffic for your blog site.

So just focus on generating quality content.

2. Research keywords and keyword phrases to optimize you blog:

Your blog post title should include the main keywords in it. Combine main, semi-competitive keywords for your blog title. Keyword research is needed before considering the 'best and unique' keywords for your blog posts. For keyword research you can use best keyword research tools like Goodkeywords.com ( http://www.goodkeywords.com ) , Overture ( http:// inventory.overture.com ) etc. Get the potential keywords and keyword phrases to optimize your blog. Do not go for highly-competitive keywords. Choose semi-competitive and low competitive keywords initially.

3. Use search engine friendly URL's

Always use search engine friendly URL's. I feel very irritated when I see blog Url's like http://www.profitimo.com/Blogs/tabid/84/Default.aspx..Does this URL give you any idea about what this is regarding? People intentionally commit such mistakes knowing the fact that it is NOT a Search engine Friendly! The url should be some what like this "blogdomain.com/articles/name of the blog.aspx". If your system allows you to choose a search-engine friendly URLs, by all means, set it up! Or perhaps while choosing a blog provider that has this feature.

Use keywords to your blog Url. Use the blog post title as the permalink. Adding keywords to blog urls acts as a real booster to search engine rankings. Using keywords in the blog post title will occur as anchor text in the permanent post link. This is one of the best SEO tips to help your blogs and blog site rank better and drive traffic each single day.

4. Submit your Blog:

Submit your blog to RSS, Blog directories, and Regular directories. Ping the major RSS feed and Blog search engines. For examples Google blog search, Digg, technorati etc.

5. Use headers to Highlight the main elements.

Bold and highlight the sub-titles and major keywords in the blog. The heading tags h1, h2 etc also help the search engines bots decide what the post is all about and rank them accordingly. Put your main keywords between the header tags. Highlighting the MAIN points on the blog helps your online readers to have a glance on it..in case they do not want to read the whole post due to lack of time. Moreover the search engines spiders consider 'Bold and highlighted' points very important. So this is a very useful tip to optimize your blog both for your readers and the search engines.

6. Always Pingback and send trackback:

Make sure that your blog software (wordpress,blogger.com etc) is configured to send a trackback ping to blogs that you cite within your posts. This is better for driving traffic than for link popularity. Make useful comments on other blogs. Your name will be linked to the blog url that you enter. Do not comment on other posts that offer no value to the blog post. Avoid using keywords in the field for your name, use your name or blog name. This is another great way to generate more and more traffic to your blogs and blog site.

7. Use Cascading style sheets in your blog:

Use Cascading style sheets in your blog template if possible. Use light designs to load faster. Do not use excessive Java scripts texts like "Widgets". Avoid using unnecessary use of "widgets' (I mean which are not important for your site). Having a large number of JavaScripts can slow down your site. Search engines too cannot read Java script links and texts. This is another good way to optimize blogs for visitors and search bots.

Make all best-possible efforts to market and promote your blog posts. Optimizing blogs is not a hard task. Just keep the above optimizing tips in your mind and implement them when and where necessary. Get stunner free traffic to you blog by the above proven strategies.

How To Get Better Blog Traffic by Using Comments to Cement Connections

by MorganLighter

Why don't I consider leaving comments a traffic method?

Because commenting isn't meant to generate traffic, it's more of a by-product.

And yes, there are some things we can use to generate traffic, even though that isn't their intended purpose, but only when it's ethical.

Leaving comments for traffic alone isn't ethical.

You're trying to take something from a community that worked hard to get it, instead of getting credit for sharing something with a community that you belong to, and reciprocating when it's given to you - these are two different things.

Think about how you'd feel if someone did that to your blog, everytime you want to evaluate a traffic method related to blogging. If you wouldn't mind and allow it at your blog, then knock yourself out, because whatever you are doing to others is about to happen to you.

Commenting to get traffic is also inefficient.

Why?

Let's say you leave one comment.

That comment will probably only bring you traffic as long as that post is new. When it fades into the archives, you won't get much traffic from it.

Let's say it's a DoFollow comment, and you're getting link juice. (A DoFollow comment is one left at the site of a blogger who is purposely not using the NoFollow attribute.)

Sure, your link will get followed by the search engines, and counted among the number of links to your site, which may give you a little boost.

But wouldn't it be better not to have to share that link juice with the other commenters?

Wouldn't it better to have a whole post dedicated to your site?

Wouldn't it be great to get a Permanent link to your site from their Blogroll, on a page that has more weight than a single post?

Wouldnt it be cool if someone discovered you by your link and then shared your link with other people?

So how do you get that kind of action?

Let's look at it logically.

Good Bloggers tend to make posts about…

* Quality tools, content, services, & products that will serve their community.

* People who are doing innovative, interesting, creative things that will interest their community, * Quality tools, content, services, & products that will serve their community and make them money, * News of interest to their community that will either save them from doing a full blog post or help them to do a full blog post,

.. just to name a few.

It follows, then, that if you want a blogger to blog about your site, to share your site with others, or to add you to their link roll, you should :

* Make comments that will both help and intrigue the blogger and his/her community, which make a good introduction to you. * Form a relationship with that blogger on the basis of what you have in common that could serve their community. * Form a relationship with other commenters in that community.

In other words, comment to give, not to get.

If you get the same amount of love back from comments you make, then great. If you don't, that's fine too, at least you got a link, and if you stick to it, you'll get that love elsewhere some other day.

SEO Tips for Your Blogs

by Tony Markx

Originally conceived to be something like an online journal for individuals has become yet another tool businesses can use to market themselves online. Web logs or blogs are now being used not just for the sheer purpose of writing, but also as means SEO (search engine optimization) experts use to increase a website's ranking on search engine results pages (SERP).

An interesting thing about keeping and maintaining a blog (also known as blogging) is that anyone can blog. What will make a blog more successful than most is simply a keen sense of its target readership. Of course, it will not harm the blogger (a person maintaining a blog) to possess a few basic skills navigating the Internet and creating links to other websites and blogs. SEO is just as relevant for blogs, as it is for websites.

Bloggers today are finding that they can not only write and publish their thoughts for free, but they also can find themselves getting compensated for writing. This is because one of the techniques in SEO is to create content that is rich in keywords, which is basically what search engines look for in ranking web pages in its SERPs.

That said, here are some tips to make your next blog an effective SEO tool.

1, Choose a Theme (and Stick to It) Most blogs never gain a real readership because it simply is a mishmash of a writer's thoughts, with very little coherent theme to bind the entire blog together. If the blogger does it for the sheer purpose of a journal, there's really nothing wrong with that, it is there choice.

However, as an SEO tool, a blog has to have a theme that will tie all the posts (individual articles) together. This is because instead of just looking for keywords, a search engine will also assess whether the page just happens to have a lot of keywords mentioned in the post or whether the entire blog is about the topic it is searching for. The former will rank less than the first scenario in the SERPs. Given this point, it will do you well to pick a theme that you are interested in highly or have a large knowledge about and won't tire of writing informative, relevant pages or articles about.

2. A Place You Can Call Home Working alongside the idea of a theme, When creating your blog (whether with your own domain name or an a free blog site), give it a URL that has words related to the theme. For example, if you are going to blog about bonsai making, try to use words that are related to that in your blog's URL (such as www.bonsaienthusiast.com), etc, etc, please place some time into researching a relevant domain name, it is a very important step. Name your blog using words that are as relevant as possible to your theme as well. Search engines look at these things as well to determine how high your blog could possibly rank.

If you are blogging on a hosting site, it is possible to have your blog delegated into a proper category. This will help make it easier for the seafch engines to find your blog given that the category is strongly related to themes and search keywords.

On a related note, your individual posts should also be titled with words that are closely related to your theme. Again, working on a blog with a bonsai theme, one post could be titled :Miniature Trees: How to Get Started, while another one could be :Selecting the Right Pot for a Bonsai. This will give your posts a URL that is rich in keywords, which helps in a page's ranking on SERPS (but you already know that, right?).

3. Link And it Shall Be Linked Unto You Another thing about blogs that SEO experts are finding to become a great advantage is the fact that blogs make it easy to link to other blogs, which in turn makes it easy for other blogs to link to you.

This is yet another criterion a search engine uses to rank a particular page in the results pages. The more incoming links it possess about the keyword in search will increase ranking status because the page shows that a lot of people think what you've written is a good source of information.

So when writing on your blog, be sure to take the time to read other people's blogs and other online articles related to your theme. Create links to them so that you point your readers to more information. This will increase the chances of other people creating links that will point to your blog.

4. Keep it Coming Since blog content is so easy to create, search engines scour blog sites very regularly. That means if you keep on creating new content on a regular basis, search engines will have to keep up with what's new on your blog.

By regularly creating fresh content on your blog, search engines will tend to look to your blog first before others that are not maintained and renewed as regularly as you do. It helps in the rankings as well, which is the whole point of this article, right?

These tips are just to get started on using a blog for SEO. As you go along, you'll find more tricks of the trade that will help you push your hard worked-upon blog up the ranks on SERPs. Of course realistically, don't expect to rank on the top 3 pages on your first try. But give it a few weeks. And for as long as you keep to the tried and true principles, it may not be that far until you've captured a good ranking for your blog.

Power Blogging - 3 Awesome Blogging Tips That Will Skyrocket Your Blog Business

by sas_worldofwarcraftbuddy

This article is not intended to give you the newbies course about hosting, installing a blog on your domain and etc. It will give you some serious advice on your blog business

Bad blogging habits are easy to get into, and one of the worst is to leave your 'About' page unchanged. You know the page: it is provided by Wordpress as standard and a whole host of bloggers leave it unchanged. Why they do this is known only to them, because this is the first page that a large number of first-time visitors to a blog check out, and the reason why many of them leave without looking further.

All you have to do is to say a little about yourself, who you are, and what your blog is about, why you feel qualified to write a blog about this topic and how you can be contacted. If your blog covers a particular niche, rather than being simply a log of personal comments, then your potential readers will want to know why they should believe what you say by reading your credentials on the subject.

There is nothing wrong with having a personal blog about your personal thoughts on things, but if you are presenting yourself as a form of expert on a specific topic, then you will have to persuade readers that you have a right to do so. You should use your 'About' page to do that.

Another tip you should take is to claim your blog with Technorati. This registers it as yours with Technorati, and you can get a whole load more visitors. Since joining Technorati most of my blogs' traffic rocketed. It takes a while for new blogs to get going, but it's a lot easier if you make use of sites such as Technorati. The same is true of most of the social bookmarking sites if traffic is important to you. If you are using a blog to promote a product, then this is essential.

If you have a website then don't get lazy and be content to run your blog from a hosting site such as wordpress.com. It is better to download the software from wordpress.org, and host your own blog. You have much more control over the look and feel of it, and can use any of the thousands of plugins that are available online. You can also use any template you want, or even design your own. That way you get total customization of your blog pages, and can make it more distinctive than the majority hosted on Wordpress or Blogger's site. If you have tried and had problems downloading and installing it then send me an email. If needed I can take you through it online, or by telephone.

These are the two main tips that any blogger should take if they intend to blog seriously. However, was I to provide the third most important tip for anybody interested in blogging, then it would be to monetize your blog. Don't blog for nothing. If your blog concerns a specific niche subject you can likely throw up one or two affiliate programs on your sidebar so that they appear with your new posts. A three column blog is useful for this, since your regular sidebar will generally be full of permanent links.

If you monetize using Adsense, a three column layout is even more essential, since you will want a vertical block down one of the columns, in addition to some at the bottom and the middle. A good Adsense layout would be a column to the left or right of the main text column containing a vertical ad unit, a horizontal link unit at the bottom of the blog, and also a horizontal ad unit at the bottom of the latest post. You could also include a search box at the top or bottom of your main sidebar that allows a search either on Google, from which you get income, or on your blog.

You could also include one of your websites as a second search option, providing three altogether. The income might not be a lot, but most blogs with a few hundred visitors a day should be able to make from $10 to $20 daily minimum, depending on the niche. All you need are a few blogs like that.

These are my three main blogging tips. Yours would likely be different, since blogging is a very personal thing, but if you take these three on board you will likely find that you will get more visitors, have more fun and also be able to put a bit put aside for the holidays or that unexpected bill that always comes at the wrong time.

Why Business Blogger have low Traffic and Terrible Conversion Rates?

by Kamafairul Kamarudin

Hi, Guys. Before this we have been discuss about how to increase Traffic and Conversion Rates from post title How to maximize your Business Blog profit. Now we talk about the opposite factor that's why we having low traffic and terrible conversion rates.

First Banner ads!

Why does this happen?

Banners are cheesy and hurt your credibility. Because visitors simply arrive feeling "pitched" rather than informed. So they arrive at your Business Blog in a resisting mindset, rather than with an open, ready-to-buy attitude. Remember that example where you sent 100 visitors per day to a merchant and 1% bought? If you rely on flipping up a lot of banners, it will be more like 10 visitors per day and not one buys!

Want to make clear here, it is not an advertisement space that the problem here. Its tell you to reduce as many as you can, the graphic (banner ads) at your Blog.

If you simply must use banners, save them for the products that you don't feel absolutely great about recommending. That way, you don't hurt your credibility after all, it's "only advertising."

Save your "in context" text links for super affiliate companies and your own products that deliver true value to your readers.

Here some tips, If you really want to have banner ads in your Business Blog, why not sell the Banner Advertising Space to your readers. Just to let you know selling ad space on website is one of the most profitable businesses models you can find online Wright now.

However what you would want to avoid doing, is not to put too much ads on your blog when you just started! How much is too much? Well just do a simple test with 5 of your friends online and ask them for comments and you would know if you have implemented too much ads. As a rule of thumb, try not to make your website filled with ads but focus more on value content for your readers.

After banner advertising, it's the most common error. And it's an even bigger shame because this involves a lot of work... misplaced work. I mean, if you're going to fail, the best thing would be not to spend much time at it, right?

Here it is... SELLING instead of PRE SELLING.

Being a great Business Blogger is NOT about selling... It's about pre selling through information content.

Your Goal-of-the-DAY here is to understand, understand deeply, the concepts outlined here, culminating with the concept of PRE SELLING to maximize Conversion Rates about some information. It's the foundation of building income through information content with Business Blog.

Your success with anything you do in the world of Business Blogging flows from it. Internalize it and act upon it...... and you will succeed.

Blogging Reality.

"Nothing happens by accident in the world of computers, the Net, and customer response. There is always a reason for what happens, good or bad, and that reason is YOU."

So, How?

Not by working harder, but by simply channeling their motivation in a better direction.

Lets say that my Business Blog are SELLING (with sales copy) when they should be PRE SELLING (with great, and related, Information content that is of value to the reader).

There's really not much point in straight selling off your site - that's what your B-Blog is for. Picture this...

A visitor arrives at my Business Blog that is really just one, big sales site. Yes, I Am very honest to tell about the great product and all the words are sincere, But put yourself in these visitors' shoes for a moment. They don't see inspiring, editorial information content -- they see a sales effort.

But they were searching for content!

"CONTENT!" I said. (Sorry for yelling.)

People resist sales efforts, so your click-through actually goes down. And if they do click, what do they see when they arrive at your affiliate site or your product Web site. More sales effort. And, in some cases, many of the words on the affiliate site are similar to the words that they've just read.

Result? Poor Conversion Rate.

If your Business Blog is basically a "bunch of sales letters," you have not yet built your

credibility and likeability with your visitor. Your visitor ends up feeling "pitched." And then feels double-pitched if they clicks through to your affiliate or products site...

Conclusion?

Don't SELL! Instead, warm your visitor up for your affiliate or products by pre selling them with great content of information that they value and respect. They'll click-through with pleasure, arriving at your affiliate or products sites in an open-to-buy mindset.

It's your PRE SELL effort by your information and content that will boost your buyer's traffic to your affiliate/products site and will increase Conversion Rate at your Business Blog. Which in turn maximizes your income.

Why Most Blogger Fails: Myth and Facts

by azrizam mansor

Every blogger that start a blog want to be a professional blogger, fact that write a blog is a simple manner are wrong. Why most blog writer fails before the journey ends, why the new blogger fails to achieved their target. Below some of the reason why many blogger fails.

1 - Motivated By Money.

Myth: I can make huge income and money with blog, just start writing anything and put some ads. Just wait for the money pour in.

Fact: If motivated by money, go ahead for 6 month and yet just make a dollar a days with your ads network. The chance is sure you will give up before your blog achieved 10 months old.

Solution: Just blogging like usual, enjoying what you are doing now, put a passion along side without get motivated by money, place just a minimal ads not a big problem. The money will slowly generate by it self after that.

2 - Maintaining Too Many Blog.

Myth: If the A blogger can make $10k a month with just 1 blog maybe I can make even bigger income than that if I write a 5 different blogs. Let's say with 5 blogs maybe I can make $20k a month.

Facts: The blogger that make $10K a month know what his doing and achieve it with his passion on that blog. If you concentrate to maintain 5 blogs without know what you are doing - you are on suicide way. Jumping to many blogs without potential will wasted your time, money for hosting and your energy that you put on your first blog.

Solution: Just concentrate maintaining just 1 niche blog that you had a passion on, focus on what you are doing now without thinking to maintain other niche blog. Give some time to that blog to succeed.

3 - Write Just For You Not The Readers. Myth: I just want to write about my personal life and there is no readers want to read my life story.

Facts: Blogger that write for himself usually with neglected all the grammar, all the basic rules of blogging, and what other readers need. They just write what ever they want without show a care to other readers. When other post a comment you don't reply it, when other contact you just ignore it. Here you're wrong because even you write about your life other still want to read it, just communicate with other and make the story interesting. There are blogger that write about personal life succeed.

Solution: Communicate with the readers even you write about your personal life. Remember this; blogging is two ways process, if you put something valuable in your post sure other will stick to your blog.

4 - Write for Google not for Readers.

Myth: I must write a niche blog just for Google since Google will drive the traffics and reader to me. The readers will come if they reach my pages in Google.

Facts: If you write for Google, you're totally wrong and put the blog in a graveyard. When writing you put all the effort to make the post get ranked higher in Search Engine, all the linkbait you use, all the problogger technique you try out but still no readers. Why this happen? Getting Traffic to your New Website

by David O Connell

So you've just finished creating your new website. It looks good and you are ready for the visitors, you can't wait for the traffic to come. So how are you going to get traffic to your new site? You will now need to promote your new site. Here are a few things you could start with:

1. Submit your site to the Search Engines. If you want people to find your site then you should start by submitting your site to the biggest 3 search engines, which are Google Yahoo and MSN. They will find your site eventually without submitting to them but why wait. You should also submit your site to all the other lesser-known search engines because some people don't or can't use the big 3. Can be time consuming to submit your site to most of them so Search Engine Submission Software is recommended for this.

2. Submit your site to Directories. People go here to find other websites. Provides good incoming links when your site is listed on directories, which can over time increase your website's popularity and SE rankings. There are so many directories that this can also be time consuming.

3. Submit your site to Classifieds. Was once considered to be an excellent way to get traffic to your site but not as effective today, however, it still could be worth your while submitting your site to the classified sites using Search Engine Submission Software because most of those sites are considered high traffic sites.

The above three methods are great ways to promote your site and start getting traffic but they can be very time consuming if you decide to submit your site manually to the above, however, there is a much faster and incredibly simpler way to get your site on over 700,000 Search Engines, Directories, Classifieds, Online Malls and Link pages by using Search Engine Submission Software like this http://www.easy.top5submitters.com

You could also consider other ways of getting visitors to your site like

1. Article Distribution - Writing articles about what can be found on your site and distributing them to article directories with a link to your site included in every article you write.

2. Participate in Forums that are related to your sites content - Post your opinion or expertise on the subject matter, and over time you'll be allowed add a link to your site with every post you make.

3. Add lots of related links to your site - This is reciprocal linking where someone adds your link to their site while you agree to add their link to your site - make sure the sites you link to are related to your site in some way, this will improve your search engine ranking for more traffic, eg. If you have a weight loss site you should link to other weight loss related sites like health, fitness, diet, exercise.

4. Use Pay Per Click (PPC) - Brings in quality traffic but it can get costly if you don't know what you're doing. Every time someone visits your site it will cost you a pre-determined amount usually a few cents. I recommend you learn all about this method before you dive in, however, you can at least set your limit on how much you are willing to spend on this.

5.Traffic Exchanges - This is where you view other people's sites to gain credits that will allow them to view your site. Most of the people viewing your site will have no interest in your site, they are only clicking on your site to gain credits. Worth a try because it's free to join.

6. Advertise in Ezines - This can be an excellent way to advertise your website. Only use ezines that are related to your site and have a large circulation. Allow your site ad a few months of advertising to get the best value.

7. Hit Boosters - Instant traffic to your site using software technology. Some can be quite useless but others can bring in truly remarkable results for your site. Here's a good one http://www.traffic.top5submitters.com

There are many more traffic gaining techniques. The above are 10 good ways that will get traffic to your site and a couple of solutions to your site promotion ventures. My advice is to try the above first and then when you are familiar with them you can look for other methods.

3 Ways to Flood Your Website With Targeted Traffic

by Raymond C

An affiliate marketer may have everything needed for him to succeed in an affiliate business. He has goals, determination, and a thorough understanding of how the system works, a professional website with a compelling sales letter. However, all of these means nothing if he is not able to bring in a huge amount of targeted traffic to his website. He could fail the business eventually.

After all, bringing quality and targeted visitors to your website is not as easy as what we think. While there are millions of websites and thousands of them promoting the same product as yours, how are you going to differentiate yourself? How are you going to compete with other webmasters for every single piece of traffic? Remember: every single visitor counts. They could turn up to be your prospects and eventually customer or even your referral / downline.

Listed below are 3 ways to bring laser-targeted traffic to your website and work together with the content and the sales letter to maximize your commission checks.

1. Search engine. Imagine if you want to search for some information. Where would you go? Bingo, search engines. Search engines are well-known for driving free targeted traffic, that’s why they should not be ignored. The key is to obtain top search engine rankings as the first 2 pages in search results always yields the best results. However, to achieve that, there are many things you need to look at, for example, targeted keywords, content, back links, etc. Once you have your website at the top of the list, you are ready to pull in boat loads of cash.

2. Link exchanges. Look for websites that have the similar topic as yours. Contact the webmaster and ask for a possible partnership in link exchanges. With this way, both you and the other webmasters are able to achieve a mutual benefit â€" share traffic and in a way, also helps you to increase your website’s traffic. The key is to play smart: look for websites that have high volume of traffic to achieve optimum results. Also look for those who have high PR ranking as it also helps you to earn higher positions on search engines.

3. Article writing. Article writing remains one of the most effective and powerful way of pulling in traffic. What makes it even better is that its virtually free. Your only investment is your time and effort in writing the articles. If you think that its too tedious and time consuming or if you simply don’t have the talent to write, you can hire someone to get it ghost written at a minimal cost. The mechanism of getting traffic using this method falls back to the basics of people going online: searching for information. When people search for info on your topic, then could come across your article and read it. You will be perceived as an expert in your niche and be able to get visitors’ trust more easily. When they trust you, they buy from you.

Using the right strategies and methods in generating tones of targeted traffic is crucial in the success of any online business. This is particularly important in affiliate marketing as in the field of affiliate marketing, visitors means profits.

Tips to Get Repeat Web Traffic

by CL Talbert

1. Update the pages on your website frequently. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date counter on the page to show when it was last updated.

2. Offer additional value on your website. For affiliates and partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with your own product.

3. You can allow customers to 'opt in' to get discounts and special offers. Place a link on your site to invite customers to 'opt in' to get a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons.

4. Add a link to your primary page with a script 'Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites'.

5. Add a link 'Recommend this site to a Friend' so that the visitor can email your website link, with a prewritten title, "Thought you might be interested in this", just by clicking on it.

6. Brand your website so that visitors always know they are on your site. Use consistent colors, logos and slogans and always provide a 'Contact Us' link on each page. 7. Create a 'Our Policies' page that clearly defines your philosophy and principles in dealing with your customers. Also post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are secure when they visit your site.

8. Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the doubts and clarifications about your product or your company that are likely to be asked. This helps to resolve most of the customers doubts in their first visit to your site.

8. Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site if they lose the book mark.

9. Never spam a client, who has opted for newsletters, with unsolicited emails. Later if they decide they want to 'opt out' of the mailings, be sure you honor their request and take them off the mailing list. They may still come back if they like your products. But they will certainly not come back if you continue to flood their email box with mails they no longer wish to receive.
